As a course venue, Poulstone is one of the best. It feels cared-for and welcoming with beautiful views over countryside and well-planted and tended gardens. I loved the food – I think, the best I’ve found in a course centre – and the responsive organizers and helpers. Altogether, the experience at Poulstone has a memorable coherence.

I have found the hospitatilty offered at Poulstone Court to be gentle, supportive and yet unobtrusive. As a vegetarian, it was bliss to have such consistantly wonderful food served up at every meal! In the end I just had to buy their recipe book. The setting of this retreat centre is also wonderful, overlooking fields of sheep and with quiet walks, full of birds, right on the doorstep.

...Such a wonderful gem... I will always remember Poulstone. Embedded in my memory are its beautiful surroundings deeply rooted in nature... the lovely walks provide you with a sense of wonder and joy and a knowing that this is what life is all about - being at one with the universe.
